Description:
Founded in 1561, Mendoza is a Province with ample commercial, industrial and cultural development. It is also an important tourist destination since it lies on the Andes Mountain range, and near the Aconcagua Mountain, (South America’s highest peak). It is also on the terrestrial path between Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires. Beside being an ideal destination for trekking, rafting, hiking, skiing, and for its incredible aerial views, Mendoza is famous for its world-class vineyards. On a typical wine tasting tour, you will visit 2 or 3 vineyards over the course of a half day or a full day, depending on how far apart they are. While there, in addition to delighting your taste buds, you’ll get a full explanation of the history of the grapes and the area.
