In this full day tour you will have a unique visit to San Antonio de Areco, the cradle of Argentine and Gaucho tradition. You will also enjoy an unforgettable visit and a traditional argentine B-B-Q or “Asado” at the estancia “La Porteña”, a 180 year old place that still maintains Argentine Creole architectural styles intact, and is considered one of the most attractive estancias in Argentina. This semiprivate tour (18-22 passenger max) with two bilingual guides will pick you up at your apartment (or centrally located hotel) and will visit San Antonio de Areco,(about 120 kms from city center), the Ricardo Guiraldes Museum, and the Estancia “La Porteña” where besides enjoying this Historical Monument, and its impressive garden designed by the famous French landscape designer Carlos Thays, you will spend the day immersed in folklore and tradition. You will also enjoy a cheese, empanadas and wine reception followed by a traditional Asado and a “mateada” with cupcakes and a guitar show. Finally, you will also experience Argentine customs and traditional walks in horse-drawn carriages, possibly \do some horse-back riding and maybe even have a Polo lesson.
